Aberdeen MS
This fall I co-piloted on an Angel Flight for a young 12 yr old gentleman. He had just spent the last 5 months at the Mayo. 15 surgeries over that time frame.

He maneuvered on crutches that day as he had lost the lower portion of his right leg in one of those operations.

While he wasn't smiling and being joyfull for the trip, but you could see the sparkle in his eye. He was just tired, but he was going home.

I would challenge anyone to take part of volunteering with Angel Flight. It is truly an eye opener as to what some are going through and the strength they have to keep going forward.

Jim, you have the ultimate reason for offering thanks this Thanksgiving season. How the present years crop turned out is immaterial in the "big picture".
