Kansas | Reading a friends facebook page this morning reminded me of this muscian. Seems like I never hear his music anymore on any of the stations that play some of the older stuff. I'm reminded of Shenendoah, McBride and the ride, Dan Seals, a host of others that I have saved on my youtube acct but escapes my memory at the moment.
Seems like with country stations you got two picks. New release stuff that is twangy and has a rock and roll twist to it or the real old stuff from Johnny Cash and Willie.
Kinda left me scratching my head and wondering how come some of these greats that were never Grand Ole Opry card carrying members don't get played on the station like the big dogs do?
Skip's music sure reminds me of my younger days in a tractor cab listening to an AM Radio.
