| My hometown (Conway Springs) advanced to the state finals next weekend. We will be going for out 7th state title in the last 14 seasons. We had 4 in a row from 2000-2004 with 4 undefeated seasons. Conway Springs runs an offense that you don't get to see often anymore, the single wing, and runs it very well. We are currently 156-16 since 1997 running the single wing.
By the way, of those 7 title games, 5 have now been against the same opponent from the east side of the state bracket, Silver Lake. They are a VERY successful program in the NE part of Kansas. I think they have been in around 8-10 of the last 15 title games, and won a couple. Congrats to them as well.
