We just bought a 1/2 section, 240 of in CRP, 80 was pasture. Well, just bought last spring now I guess. Don't recall how much, but I can find out.

As for faming it, I think I would plow it once to start out. That is a huge amount of residue and grass seed to get rid of. Some of our CRP has lots of bushes and small trees out in it, and I think plowing would be good way to do away with those and smooth things out. Then maybe a pass with the sweeps to get things smoothed over and break up the clods. Then no-till after that.

Tried to make it down to the auction south of Brush on Monday, but didn't work out.
