Subject: Re: High School Football Still Going

Franklinton, LA
Our local team, Franklinton High School is the the Louisiana State 4A playoffs again this year. They won their first round playoff game last Friday night.

In 2009 they lost to Neville High School of Monroe, LA in the state finals. Last year, the state 4A semi-final game was played in Franklinton the first Friday night in December. That afternoon and evening we had 4 - 6" of snow. This was the the earliest measureable snow in the history of Franklinton. They had to clean snow off the yard markers during the game. The visiting team really lost their focus and Franklinton won by 69 - 0!

Ten years from now we will probably have 15,000 people telling about how they watched that game in the snow!
