| I like and own a Gooseneck brand stock trailer. It 24 foot long and 6 foot wide. It pipe sides and split doors at the back, and has 3 cuts. I like it hauling calves from the farm to the salebarn, I always heard that a steel trailer was need for hauling from farms ( going in rough places to get cattle ) and that a aluminum trailer was more of a highway trailer ( going into rough places was hard on them ). I think a enclose trailer is better for long hauls. An example you go to a bull sale 300 miles away and buy some young bulls, it would be better on them to be haul back in a enclose trailer. An answer to your question is what is your needs in a stock trailer ?
Long hauls or short hauls or both ? | |
