high High Colorado
I have had both (john deere and a hesston) I liked the hesston 30 with the feeder far better that the john deere.
The Deere only has 3chains. also if you break a chain while loading, the roller usally ends up under the stack.. That's a big mess
The Hesston has 5 chains, with most having a "doser tracks" to help load. If your going to feed I think you would Like the hesston better as well. It has a scikle to cut the hay in slices.
MY neighbor still has his 60 with feeder.. He was using it to bring in round bales. He didn't use it all this year.
