se montana | I had a little of this last year, and I thought it was a fluke deal, but I'm already into with this batch of calves. I weined two weeks ago, and I'm gradually picking up a few ear infections and putting them through the chute and giving them 25cc's in the skin of the neck. Half in each side. Calves are still feeling good when I doctor them, they just have a droopy, draining, infected ear. 24 hours after the shot, some of the doctored calves get very sick for a few days.
Yes, the ear infection clears up, but something is going on with this doctoring process. Is there any such thing as a reaction to tetracycline?
