MN | It really wouldn't matter - pigs love to destroy wood - I would suggest trying to find some used stainless feeders or fiberglass Osborne feeders rather than building some wood ones-used ones should be available if you hunt a little bit. If you really feel an urge to build, try finding some plastic lumber - that does last longer. We have had hogs for 20 years and there isn't much they won't ruin eventually (except really good stainless steel-some sows will bend the crate feeders just for fun). | |
