You know, I hear this comment on occasion. I havent really seen it but dont really give my cows a choice. Do you think it is a "taste" thing? Is it because those stalks are so darn tough? I dont expect them to eat stalk off at the ground. Has anybody really done any research on this? The silage we chopped this fall was triple stack corn. Always bale Bt corn stalks. I wonder if we should be doing something different? Had a neighbor said his calves would eat the grain of gmo corn.
