The basis has improved here a bit. Maybe .15 in the last couple of weeks. If you can make money at the prices being offered then there is no sin in pricing some now. If you can't and the basis will always be $1.75 then maybe you need to look at a different crop?? Your local market may be trying to tell you they don't want wheat. There was a farmer in Trinidad this year hauling his wheat here during harvest. That was a 200 mile one way trip for him. We are at $1,35 now and $1.30 new crop.
