I suspect if the ones at Des Moines have a clue where there bread is buttered, and don't plan to retire in the next couple of years they would appreciate someone who takes care of their jobs.
By pushing implementation of the tire tarriff last year, Morry probably kept tens of thousands of blue collar workers on the taxpayer rolls and off of the goverment teat.
