remsen, iowa nw iowa | i side with chris on this one. this is an echo rally from 08. a retracement plain and simple. the o8 highs are safe. have we topped ?no ,but you can see it from here. if corn blows thru 6.00 i will retract this post. canuck2 congrats on a successful campaign in the land buying arena. truly. but i would differ with itchy and his 50 year cycle. 25 years would be half a cycle and i remember dad telling me in the 50s that guys lost newly purchased land when things went dry in the middle of the decade. (at least in nw iowa). so my point is dont rule out sub 3.00 cash corn on any projections on a land purchase. i think the old saying is pertinent here, sell it when everybody wants it and buy it when nobody wants it. seems to me almost everybody wants it now. just my thoughts. d7 | |
