Hello Clarence....hope all is well ..looking forward to another trip to the Rio Grande Valley this winter for a few days.....

interesting comment you made about sandy soils....we are hearing some really good yields from sandy areas down here...you know, the ones that normally shrivel up in a "normal" year.....at least SOMEONE benefited from all the excess rain....!

We stopped in Paullina for lunch with snowbird friends.....I kept telling them: "you may not think you have a great crop, but you certainly do compared to the other 75% of the state!" ...rather than seeing SDS spots, we saw beans going through a normal maturation and transition from green to yellow like it's supposed to happen....

I note you have picked up several rains in past two weeks we have missed in south half of state...and I see something on the radar here at 1PM Saturday...

hope things work out for a pleasant harvest
