Red River Valley
The beet farmers may increase YOY just to get away from fall work load and some of the contract crops may lose mostly think sunflowers but for the most part not much extra will be gotten from the Red Rive Valley out west more likely to draw some extra acres but even they are talking big corn yields this year so if they harvest good crops in good shape I would doubt they go away from corn their was some preventive plant so net net farmers will plant more acres next year if it is a reasonable fall and a ok spring. I'm also being told that some of the farmer's that use a fallow rotation out west of the Mizzu river have enough moister to plant Winter Wheat again this fall so that may come into play but all in all not hudge acres but maybe some. On our operation we have some less than desirable dirt that has flower's on it this year that will be extra wheat next year.
