Central Neb. | Did a dryland 80 in east central Neb. We are in a small pocket that has not had a good rain since July 10th. Dekalb 55-24 doing about 165 in some rolling hills, moisture is running 15-17.5% We are pretty happy with the yield. I was thinking 150 would stop it this year, just too dry in August. The other half of the quarter did 234 last year so it was down from last year but better than expected. Going to do 1 more dryland field of the same hybrid then on to beans before we do any irrigated corn. | |
