| -28 at the nearby ethanol plant. Mr Jenkins eastern belt fructose plant is -30. Neither is having any trouble sourcing corn. Have dropped bids about every day this week and lines keep growing. We aren't all that far from multiple river terminals either........basis has been screaming higher there. All the way to -48!!! They were -54 earlier in the week. Needless to say, no lines at the River. Don't buy any of the stories about huge export demand or the barges full of damaged corn either. If both were true they would be fighting it out with the interior processors for available supplies to meet demand and blend with the junk. Instead river houses are sending corn to Mr Jenkins processing plant. | |
