Central Illinois | While I really like your posts, I've disagreed strongly with you on early yields out of Illinois. After 442 acres in three days with an average yield of 139, down 65-70 from the last three years, I was counting on your projection today to cover some of my sales. Anyway, I covered only 50K at 2 higher this morning instead of 17-20 lower. In just a few days, I've realized that I've gone from 65% sold to 100% without making a sale. I really think I need to just forget salvaging this years marketing plan and start pricing next years crops.
P.S. Did AT make it into 1st grade this year, or did they hold him back for another year in pre-school? | |
