I agree with you on the corn number. In MO yields are off 20bu/a from last year and just talked to a MO riverbottom farmer that said yields in the bottoms are the worse since 1995 flood.
The hill corn even as far south as the ozarks was hurt 25 bu/a by too much rain; but harvest will get in full swing so lotsa supply and 45 days now we have been goin up. Oct report will probably bring lower corn yields. Look at the world and U.S. carry-over on all 3 grains and usda probably has a good handle on usage. The bean crop is huge and corn isn't a national disaster. The close is more important than the open.
