Even if the nat'l corn yield is 159 (i don't believe it is anywhere near that low) corn prices will be able to divorce itself only so far from crude. As long as crude is trading below $75 some of these wild price expectations ($5,$6,$7.....) are highly unlikely. While carries have tightened up in the last week or so. Basis and carry doesn't seem to point to a severe supply problem just yet.
