New Mexico
but there's ALOT of 225 to 240.

Also I figure the Northern corn is going to be heavier. say quite a bit of 58 to 62 lb corn this year.

I figure there's a 10% chance for 10% of all operations to hit some new yield records S of the IA line, and an 85% chance for 95% of all operations N of said line for new all time yield records.

Got a few I'm tracking,
a couple in particular were 240 bu last year....looked to be 285 to 300 bu a month ago...one big rain event then the heat and they of course looked "nicked" for a week or so...hmmm.

Mother Nature bound to argue it...but still going to say 270 to 280 on those...we'll see.

The lighter soils...everywhere in said area...say 70 to 100 bu per acre over their old trend line yield.
Sand / sand loam type soils got the best corn on em ever...not an early burn sign in any of em.

Main limiting factor towards the high 2's low 3's for everything is likely the N vs moisture problems this year.

Just don't think enough N lasted long enough to trip many 285's to 300's. We'll see.
