Swift Current, Sask
How much of it?? Frost now would get 95% of the wheat and durum here. Most are grass green, and would need 3 weeks to a month with the current weather we are having w/o frost to get to maturity. Durum is in alot more trouble than the spring wheat. Durum that has been in the ground over 120 days is still not mature, and lots was put in a month after the early seeded.

Now we are getting showers every day, and stuff that may be ready is at risk of sprouting. Lentils are in an even more dire predicament than the cereals. We have had really good harvest weather the past 5-6 years, and I am really thinking our run has "run out". There may be a bunch that has to be harvested or dealt with in spring, which has not happened here for a long time.
