Isn't that the truth. Not much real reporting going on - remember they got into journalism to 'change the world' Unfortunately they do all too often.

Anyway, I'd think I would be really careful about going long or short in these market conditions. There is no reason for grains to be where they are right now. Is Russian wheat still a problem that should add $1 to corn? Is it just following the buy on Tues, sell on thurs pattern with added ratcheting up of prices? If you can figure out which model the larger funds are using you may be able to predict their behavior. Harvest seems to be starting with less than exciting numbers, but we've got a ways to go and the longer seasoned varieties of corn and beans may have benefited from the later rains.
