Talked to the folks who sell us winter hay this morning...just scheduling to pick this year's up....Not any.
They dried out and he has 150 Hereford cows or pairs that need to move too.
First time that place has sold cows because of dry since the 30's.
We're a net feeder calf production and export area anyway ( alot of the naturals fed in the Midwest come from here ).
Also a net cow production and bred cow or pair export area too.
Just works best to save hiefers and keep making cows out of em in dry / wet cycles.
