Eddie, that is almost a silly question anymore. The market does whatever the market wants to do. Right now it wants to go higher. When the market completely becomes irrational the basis will be adjusted for the end user who actually wants the product. Look at what has happened in the wheat markets. Basically a total divorce from the futures market.
