Sieze the day. There have been few (if any?) times this year since January 12 when the farmer has the upper hand in knowing the market direction. String pullers have wrecked several marketing plans. This might be the first time this year that we all have actionable intelligence that we can use to our benefit. The farmer can hold on to or buy back some of his corn and the feeder can lock in his needs. This is the senerio that everyone talked about this spring- wet early, then dry. The dry postponed itself just long enought to not make itself obvious and disguise itself till harvest. The music is starting and when it stops someone will be holding the chair. JMHO |
