| I would be more scared about buying the position back and then watching the market tank. Lose money on the call and the crop. If the basis is the fear lock it in now, take that loss at least you know where your at. If its margin buy another one out of the money to take that out of the equation. Hopefully you have some money left to do that. No matter what its going to cost more money then you planned to limit your risk. It's a losing trade but they all are when we are looking at the highs of the year. Hopefully you have the bushels to cover it, if not start drinking and praying. | |
