The Chinese are working towards the Renminbi to become a world instead of domestic currency. As the dollar is partially replaced in foreign trade it means not as many dollars are needed in circulation (electronic or paper). In my opinion, it also means a lot of foreign based dollars will find their way home to purchase US assets. This means the inflation we have been successfully exporting for many years will come back home to roost. I may be wrong in this thinking because as far as I know this line of thought is not very prevalent. I rarely hear it talked about by the "experts".
