Cullom, Illinois | I use lime in front of my feedbunks. I put it about a foot thick in the summer and let it get rained on for about six months. Gets as hard as concrete. Then cattle pack it in when they feed. Only run one group a year for four months. Will not hold up for year around feeding. In the long run, concrete would be cheaper yes, but don't want the permanent concrete pad. Barn is very old and not long for this world. | |
