| the nh3 pipeline that runs north into the corn belt is within 10 miles of our farm here in NC KS. they are telling us they have a 2 inch hole within a 30 mile stretch they cannot find, pipeline has been shut off therefore the increase in nh3 price. truckers are going south to the koch plant in oklahoma, lines are so long they are charging $100 an hour to wait in line. last tuesday NH3 was 540 a ton here, thursday it was over 600. we can get this price offered for wheat but no fall application prices that i have heard of yet. | |
