MN | Plan on lots of bedding if entire floor is cemented. We have hoop barns with cement floors with holsteins all the way through finish (baby to finish) and there is a lot of moisture to deal with - bedding and scraping. These hoops were no designed for cattle initially so that presents their own special challenges. Overall we like inside cattle as snow/rain isn't a problem with the feedlot,but just lots of bedding! | |
