When we were fridge shopping, we were told one way to clean off the fingerprints was to use a very thin film of Vaseline and then buff the prints off.  I know.......makes no sense to me either.  But that's what we were told.  And doesn't do anything to prevent the prints, only supposed to clean them off.  One of the reasons we went with black instead of stainless.
