Subject: Showing Info needed

West Salem, Illinois
My kids are really starting to get interested in showing both pigs and lambs. They are wanting to be more competitive than I every was so I'm kind of at a loss for what to do next.

So my question is what are some good resources for showing, all of it from feeding to fitting. Or if anyone has any tips that they wouldn't mind sharing i would appreciate it.

Trick we learned that I will pass along:
Problem: Pig's a little to "free spirited" for the person showing it. Solution: Use one of those show tubes (glorified pvc in designer color's) poke some marshmellow cream into the end opposite your hand. Next take a couple of the little marshmellows (like for hot chocolate) and give one or two to the offending pig before going to the show ring.
Result: Keep stick with Marshmellow down by pigs nose and they can be almost lead around the ring by the aroma from the marshmellow!

Thanks and I appreciate all responses
