I'm sorry to hear the western leg is not as friendly as the eastern leg is.
Last stop of the day we were approached by the gentleman who farms the corn and the beans we were sampling. Wondered what we were up to, we told him and he didn't mind one bit. Sat there for a few minutes and discussed how things have progress this year vs. last year and what we have been seeing along the tour.
I encourage anyone that sees a scout vehicle stopped to stop and talk to them...pick there brains on how this is all done and what they think of the experience.
McLean county was very impressive this afternoon for corn after going through East Central IL. I will have videos up on the website later tonight. | |
