Seems a little like a 'gift' that we could easily miss. In the case of corn I'm pretty heavily sold, especially after this run up.

Beans look pretty good around here and again $10 looks pretty good from a profitability stand point. I hope these prices last long enough through harvest to give us a chance to sell more bushels that we know we have.

For corn I'm trying to get some 2011 sold, but can't quite get to $3.99 cash for fall. If you think you have 200bpa corn, $4 cash seems like a pretty good number if you can price most of the bushels. I wonder if a put/call would be a good idea, but nothing looks cheap enough to make sense (afaik).

I guess I would hate to see actual fundimentals roll back into the market and drive price down for the next 6 months when I had to sell at profitable levels earlier.

thanks,

Pat
