sw ontario | --haven't done the math for 20 + yrs. but used to be if you took total value of corn crops sold per yr. or beans ..each time it would give you a per bu. value...easy old day example--5 bil. bu. crop at 4=20 bil $....a 7 bil. bu. crop would equal a $2.85 bu. price....sounds strange but in late 70's and early 80's total $ received didn't change much,,just per bu. value....now sure I will get challenged a bit on my math | |
