E.Central MN | You seem to be missing the bigger picture. While all the USDA prognosticating was going on, farmers had good weather to plant and grow a decent crop this growing season. And that is after last years surprisingly good production. Other countries in S.A. had good production, too. Supplies were adequate to satisfy current demand which basically left the markets with nothing to trade on except govt #'s until Russia's drought showed up. My point is that farmers had raised more than enough crop to satisfy demand which is what allowed those other factors to play a role. If supplies were short, those other factors wouldn't matter except for Putin's action. | |
