New Mexico | P 3 hiefers been bringing $90 cwt to $100 cwt.
I'd say $90 catches alot of em. Keep in mind the fat hiefer market is in the $90's, so there's your base.
Spring bred cows are perhaps cheap enough ( P 1's ) bringing $60 to $65 cwt., so only competition for those is the packer.
Pairs here with 300+ lb calves, cows bred back are in the $1,050 to $1,150 per pair range...pair weights from 1,400 to 1,500 lbs.
