North Central Kansas | I read an article about the number of people that have died from the heat over in Russia this month. Doctors are discouraged from listing it as heat related so as to not cause a panic in the general population. Article said that the crematoriums were running 24 hours per day and could not keep up with the number of people dying. Apparently alot of their buildings do not have air conditioning.
This article says 15,000 heat related death.
