| Alright just got back and have to say I am disappointed. Its looking like we will below our 5 year average on a couple of our better farms by 5 bushels. Plenty of water this year but to much heat after filling. Small kernals galore and some tipback. Beans are another story and look like they could be record breakers. These fit well with my own yield predictions for the US crop of 155 and 44 on beans. That would be a record breaker for soybeans and about 5 bushels below the trend this year of 160 in corn. Yes after last years crop people forget trend this year is just 160 !! LOL | |
