| Corn in south central Iowa is going backwards bigtime. My dad had a total of 11 inches of rain the past 2 nights. Every creek or waterway was a quarter mile wide. Livestock had to be rescued because they went over fences. Where I live I had 8 inches of rain past 2 nights. This morning I had to rescue my tractor and pump off of the top of my levee because the neighbors levee broke had to wade through a half mile of water with a little current up to my belt line to get it. There is thousands of acres of corn with water up to there tassels around my place. I sure hope corn goes up other wise i'm going to be in big trouble. | |
