I heard of an earlier developed, non yet patented GTL technology involving a gasoline substitue.

The technology required only needs some water to provide atoms of hydrogen, and powered by renewable solar energy - this process will literally suck the greenhouse gas CO2 (and alot of it) right out of the atmosphere.  Then when exposed to some biological organisms, produces a liquid type of gasoline substitute that is harmless enough that it can be consumed by humans. 

And almost everybody on this Marketing page is already researching for higher efficiencies involving this technology in their role as  "plant manager" :>)
