Southeast Colorado | Most of these same advisors had everybody selling their wheat across the scales at harvest. NO reason at all to hang onto the crop then! I know of one large farmer here that sold all of his 100k+ bushels at over $2 under todays price ($2.50 yesterday) and was strongly encouraging me to do the same. He said their wasn't a reputable analyst out their that was calling for wheat to do anything but go down. I decided to swim upstream. I am sold out now and missed about 50 to 75 cents of the move but feel pretty good after my last few years of marketing debacles. | |
