I have a spreadsheet with multiple tabs to manage budgeting and marketing. There is a tab for each farm with expense and revenue, a summary tab which brings all of the individual farm tabs together for each crop, a cash flow tab and a marketing tab that allows me to input the date, contract number, amount and price of each sale. The marketing tab calculates average price, has a column to input estimated discounts(drying charges, etc), totals bushels sold and calculates the percentage of total anticipated bushels and total insured bushels sold. The bottom of the marketing tab is used to track option positions and target orders in place.
