Subject: Follow up to my hay testing question - Sell it or Feed it?

NC Indiana
So Dad's biz truck was down today, so he went up to one of the bigger hays sales around and said good looking alf/grass big sq's we're bringing $95-$115/ton w/ or w/o data. Would you guys put the money in testing the hay at these prices/conditions? Would you even sell it for that or would you buy cattle (most likely thin/open cows) and feed it to them? I know 3rd cutting should be better than beef cow hay, and hay made w/o rain has been hard to get done this yr. Thanks!
