NC Indiana | So Dad's biz truck was down today, so he went up to one of the bigger hays sales around and said good looking alf/grass big sq's we're bringing $95-$115/ton w/ or w/o data. Would you guys put the money in testing the hay at these prices/conditions? Would you even sell it for that or would you buy cattle (most likely thin/open cows) and feed it to them? I know 3rd cutting should be better than beef cow hay, and hay made w/o rain has been hard to get done this yr. Thanks!
