| Just read the thread on small living spaces. Reminded me of our trip to Alaska 2 summers ago. My son was driving us to a friends house in the Palmer- Wassilla area and we came upon a 3/4 mile long graveled lot with a couple of rows of yard sheds like you see in backyards to store garden tools. There were nice pickups out in front of some with an occasional couch or chair. I asked son what was that all about. I guess that's where the summer workers stay. Many jobs are 2 weeks on 2 weeks off, and during work weeks they just need a place out off the rain to sleep. With temps generally not over 70 I guess it would be a comfortable option. Must have been over a hundred of these sheds. | |
