Subject: Futures becoming irrrelevant

NE Colorado
Seems without the possibility of farmers being able to deliver on the futures contracts the futures are becoming irrelevant and useless as a marketing tool for farmers.

If the speculators truly are driving up the futures to unrealistically high levels, the we farmers should be given the chance to call them on their supposed unrealistic long bets by being delivering on contracts we sell.

It is most unfair that we, the ones who produce the danged crop in the first place, are excluded from the club and not given the chance to deliver on the contracts.

Without us, there would be nothing to trade or speculate over in the first place.
