Mascoutah, Illinois | $12.78 would have corn trading between $4.90 and $5.35. Those prices could put a few more folks out of business because of their failure to manage their balance sheet properly.
I like the bean story as I continue to believe they are the leader. The corn crop is big and everyone including the shoe shine boy on the corner knows it. I would like to see a close above $10.11 in the November contract to put $10.60 in play.
If beans can be the leader, corn will have to follow regardless of the size of the crop.
