Germantown, TN | It is possible, but it works best if you use a dedicated video cature card. The card itself will handle a lot of the processing, so you don't have to have as beefy a machine. I've not done this, but I friends who have converted VCR tapes and burned them to DVD for storage. You can also use the card to use your PC as a digital video recorder. I stumbled across this link a few minutes ago and was just looking at it.
