I don't know about keeping them on feed or boosting production during the heat, but as for better grade on cattle, we feed as tag stated and it was hit an miss as far as results. We feed holstein steers and market to JBS, I believe we feed to 5 or 6 loads and we maybe had 2 loads grade better with the hydro-lac but that didn't offset the cost.
